Castello di Barolo

The old castles are a very typical element of the landscape of this area. One of the most beautiful ones is

where the wine museum is located. This museum, by the way, is very interactive and will be interesting also for the kids. Other Castles like Castello di Govone, Castello di Grinzane Cavour, Castello di Roddi, Castello di Serralunga d’Alba and many others are definitely worth to visit, too

We have probably reached the most interesting part: it’s impossible to talk about Langhe without talking about the delicious cheeses and meat products of this geographical zone. As every Italian region Langhe also has its own local wines. We suggest to try Barolo, Roero, Barbaresco. Last but not least is definitely the famous white truffle of Alba: in the Langhe area you can try pasta with truffle, risotto with truffle, different creams and butters, ham, sausages and actually all kind dishes you can imagine with the unforgettable truffle smell and taste!
