LoveItaly! Preserving Italy's cultural heritage

LoveItaly! the international crowdfunding platform perserving Italy’s cultural heritage.

Anyone with an interest in art and history is aware that Italy is home to the world’s most incredible cultural heritage. All of this beauty and history needs to be maintained of course, if the legacy is to survive. LoveItaly! is a non-profit initiative using an innovative crowd funding platform to do just that. It is dedicated to preserving and promoting Italy’s unique cultural patrimony.

The initiative works with a range of stakeholders, including the various ministries and supervisors for Italian monuments, fine arts and museums, both locally and nationally, church leaders, universities and academies, to support conservation projects throughout Italy.

By taking advantage of new means of communication, and a powerful crowd funding platform, the initiative connects not only those millions who come to visit Italy every year, but all those who are passionate about Italian history and culture, all over the world. So everyone can play a part. In fact, LoveItaly! aims to create a true community of people throughout the world who actively participate in the protection and conversation of Italy’s cultural heritage.

The association will also play a role in coordinating with the various players involved in their projects, including the institutions, experts and donors, patrons and public, all the while remaining focused on transparency, recognition and civic partnerhips.

LoveItaly! was founded by LVenture Group, a holding company that participates in digital start-up businesses, and an international group of coordinators, professional advisors and volunteers with varying fields of expertise with a unifying mutual passion for the beauty of Italy.

Some of its current projects seeking funding include the restoration of the Imperial Age marble sarcophagus in the Corsini Gallery, Rome, while in Pompeii the Cubiculum n.3 of the Domus of the Centaur, one of Pompeii’s finest and most important examples dating back to its “Golden Age” is also in need of restoration.
